Labor Day has come and gone and Angela continues to gain steam in District 8. We cleaned up 24th St. in Noe Valley and recieved many thanks from local residents for cleaning up the streets. Angela helped clean-up various neighborhoods and learned some interesting things. Since so much of the litter we cleaned up was from cigarettes, Angela floated a proposal at a recent candidate forum for The City to provide ash trays outside all restaurants and bars on our busy corridors to keep butts off the sidewalks. How's that for learning directly from the streets?!?!?
I hope you'll join us for an exciting event this weekend as Angela greets voters in The Castro. We'll be meeting at 10am on Sunday September 14th at outside the MUNI Station at Market & Castro. Angela will be meeting with voters while volunteers leaflet and participate in visibility activities. If you'd like to join us please call me.
